Wow what an amazing story!! Thank you so much for sharing it!!
Hey! There’s a person trapped in there!
Our society must go on a crusade to liberate the others!
Autistics are a full-blown subculture of our society and like Carly, their intelligence, emotions, and abilities are not recognized. They are locked in their bodies, “fighting with their brains” like Carly was. The responses from most people exposed to autistic behavior are judgement and avoidance that stem from ignorance and fear of the unknown.
It would be a sign of an intelligent society to educate the public about people like Carly, and to create programs that provide them with what they need to facilitate their communication. So much more can be done.
This is a touching story of the faith and devotion of Carly’s parents and their celebration of their daughter’s “rebirth”.
Dear Carly,You are an inspiration to me…You broke my heart!
I know some of your feelings , to be missunderstood……The world is waiting for more from you! I have Asbergers/highfunctioning Autism. If you can do it so can all of us!
