This picture was taken from Gangasagar Transit Camp, Kolkata. Each year thousands of sadhus and other people come here for Gangasar Yatra. Basically, Gangasagar Yatra is a spiritual festival in India. In this picture they are standing for food. These three hands are signifying that struggle is everywhere. From the Daily Dozen, a selection of photos will be published monthly in National Geographic magazine. (SOURCE: nationalgeographic.com)
